How to submit a quote for a rental

Just follow these simple steps.

Updated over a week ago

If you've received a rental offer and you're interested in bidding on the contract, you'll need to fill out a short quote submission form. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Select available accommodations

This step only applies if the rental offer is for more than one accommodation. In this case, you'll see a table with a line for each listing.

Simply select the accommodations for which you'd like to submit a quote. To do so, check the box on the left side of the table.

Step 2: If asked, pick a start date

If the policyholder needs to relocate "as soon as possible," you'll need to specify the earliest date your accommodation will be available for rental. To do so, simply click the date field and select a date in the calendar.

If the rental offer is for only one accommodation, the field will look like this:

Step 3: Decide on your price

You must specify a cost per night (all taxes and fees included) for each available accommodation.

When you enter a price in the field, you will see a real-time calculation of your income after service fees. This is exactly how much we will pay you if you get the rental contract, so make sure you're comfortable with the amount before you submit your quote.

❗️ Important

Don't forget to include any fees or taxes in your price - you won't be able to change it later.

Step 4: Submit your quote

To submit your quote, click the yellow button at the bottom of the page and confirm the information.

Once your quote is submitted, keep an eye on your inbox - you will receive any news (good or bad) by email. Generally, the insurer makes a decision 1 to 2 business days after the rental offer ends. But it can take longer if the insurer is unable to confirm the rental right away.

💁‍♂️ Good to know

Decision delays can happen for a number of reasons. For example, the person responsible for managing the claim with the insurer might be away for a few days. Unfortunately, these situations are out of our control.

While you wait, try to keep your accommodation reserved. We understand that you might be unable to do so for more than a few days. In this case, rest assured - you won't be penalized if you lease your place to someone else, as long as you withdraw your quote before the booking is confirmed.
