Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about payments.

When will I be paid?

This is what is expected based on the duration of the rental.

30 days and under

You will be fully paid within 10 to 14 business days after the guests have arrived at your accommodation.

31 days and over

You will be paid monthly. In other words, you will receive 1 payment per calendar month.

The first payment will be paid to you within 10 to 14 business days after the guests have arrived at your accommodation. The following payments will be issued to you the 10th to 14th business day of each month until the end of the rental.

Suppose your rental starts on November 2, 2023, and ends on January 15, 2024. Here is when you would receive each payment.

  • Payment 1: November 16 to 22.

  • Payment 2: December 14 to 21.

  • Payment 3: January 12 to 19.

How will I be paid?

Your payments will be deposited directly into your bank account, by direct deposit. To be paid, you must send us a cancelled cheque (cheque specimen) to [email protected].

A single copy of your cancelled cheque covers all your rentals. You only need to send a new one if you want to change your deposit account.

How are the amounts paid calculated?

When bidding for a rental contract, you specify a cost per night. To calculate the amount of a payment, we multiply the cost per night by the number of nights. Then we deduct the platform's service fee, which is taxable.

You are paid a maximum of 29 nights for a full calendar month. For months of 29 or 30 nights, the calculation is as follows:

(cost per night) × 29 nights - (service fees + tax).
