I can't find the address of my accommodation in the drop-down menu. What should I do?

Here's what to try if you can't find the address of your accommodation while creating a listing.

You've started a new listing but can't find the correct address in the form's drop-down menu? Unfortunately, this happens sometimes. You can usually resolve this issue by trying one of the following approaches.

1. Type the address progressively in the field.

If you've pasted the address in the field, try typing it instead. Sometimes, the format of the pasted text does not match our database, so our system doesn't show you relevant results. By typing the address progressively, you're more likely to find what you're looking for.

2. Add the address to the Google Maps database.

If you've tried option 1 and it didn't work, your address might be missing from our database. Since we use Google Maps to locate accommodations, you may need to take steps to have your address added to their database.

To check if this applies to you, try searching the address on Google Maps. If you can't find it, follow these instructions from Google.

Alternative solution

You can also create a listing using a nearby address. In this case, write us at [email protected] once you've created your listing and specify:

  • which address you used in your listing

  • what the correct address is

A member of our team will then manually update the information in our system.
