Can I pause the offers if my accommodation is rented for a specific period of time?
Can I pause the offers if my accommodation is rented for a specific period of time?

Here's how pausing offers works.

Updated over 9 months ago

We understand that you may not want to receive rental offers for an accommodation that is already rented. Thankfully, you have options to avoid receiving offers unnecessarily.

The method depends on the type of rental.

Rentals via Sinistar

You don’t have to do anything: our system knows that your accommodation is rented. You won’t receive any offers that overlap with your current rental.

During the rental period, the status “Occupancy in progress” appears on that listing in your dashboard.

Other rentals

If you have not rented your accommodation via Sinistar, you can still pause the offers. Simply indicate the period in which your accommodation is unavailable in your dashboard.

Follow these steps.

1. Log in to your Sinistar account.

Go to My listings in your dashboard.

2. Go to the rented accommodation

Next, click Modify.

3. On the listing page, scroll down to Publication Status.

Click Edit. A box will pop up.

4. Select the publication status “Inactive”.

Next, click Specify dates.

A new box will pop up. Simply indicate the period for which you wish to deactivate your listing.

💁‍♂️ Good to know

Your listing will still appear on the site. But you’ll no longer receive rental offers for this accommodation until the date your listing is reactivated.
