If something becomes damaged in your temporary accommodation, start by notifying your host as soon as possible. What happens next depends on what caused the damage.

If you caused the damage

You will have to reimburse the host for the cost of repairs or replacement. In this case, a Sinistar agent will follow up with you to recover the amount due. We will then pay the host.

Generally speaking, you should reimburse the host if the damage exceeds normal wear and tear.

If you did not cause the damage

The host must repair it at their expense. If the damage prevents you from enjoying your temporary accommodation, the host must act within a reasonable timeframe.

In the event of major damage, contact your Sinistar agent. They will offer you another accommodation as similar as possible to the damaged one.
